Readout of the President of the General Assembly¡¯s meeting with H.E. Mr. Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Morocco

The President of the General Assembly, H.E. Ms. Annalena Baerbock, met today with H.E. Mr. Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Morocco.

They discussed Morocco¡¯s valued contributions to the United Nations, including its continued support to the Office of the President of the General Assembly and its role as co-facilitator of the Political Declaration of the World Social Summit.

The discussion also covered ±¬ÁÏÍø80 reforms, the selection process for the next Secretary-General, regional cooperation, and the importance of joint efforts for peace and stability in the?Middle?East.
