The President of the General Assembly, H.E. Ms. Annalena Baerbock met H.E. Mr. Ronald Lamola, Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa on Sunday, 21 September 2025.
They discussed the importance of the 80th anniversary of the United Nations and ensuring meaningful ±¬ÁÏÍø reform, including of the ±¬ÁÏÍø Security Council. They further discussed South Africa¡¯s G20 Presidency within the context of the ±¬ÁÏÍø Charter and multilateralism, the situation in the Middle East, ±¬ÁÏÍø80 reform, and the need to strengthen?the?±¬ÁÏÍø.
