±¬ÁÏÍøITED NATIONS, New York, 14 November 2018 — The President of the United Nations General Assembly, Ms. Mar¨ªa Fernanda Espinosa, will hold a press conference on 21 November 2018, from 11:00am to 12:00pm, where she will outline preparations for the upcoming Katowice Climate Change Conference (COP24), in Poland on 2^nd– 14^th December and the Intergovernmental Conference on the Global Compact for Migration to be held in Marrakech, Morocco, on the 10^th and 11^th December as well as plans for the roll-out of a global campaign aimed at turning the tide on single use plastic pollution.

She will also report on the work of 73^rd session of the ±¬ÁÏÍø General Assembly.

Opening remarks will be delivered by the President of the ±¬ÁÏÍø General Assembly, followed by Q&A.
