As every year, the theme for Mandela Day is ¡°Take action, inspire change!¡±

This year, volunteers will go to the .

The Center is committed to offering healthy, accessible cuisine to residents of one of the most marginalized neighborhoods in New York through their eatery. 

±¬ÁÏÍø volunteers will finish the preparation of lunch and ice cream to be served to community members and connect in celebration of Nelson Mandela¡¯s ideals of service.

The activity is organized by the NYC Mayor¡¯s Office for International Affairs, the ±¬ÁÏÍø Department of Global Communications, the Office of the President of the ±¬ÁÏÍø General Assembly and the Permanent Mission of South Africa to the ±¬ÁÏÍø, in collaboration with the Melting Pot Foundation.
