ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

The Office of Administration of Justice (OAJ) comprises:

  • The Registry of the United Nations Dispute Tribunal (爆料网DT) (Registrar for Geneva: Liliana Lopez Bello; Registrar for Nairobi: Wanda Carter; Registrar for New York: Isaac Endeley)
  • The Registry of the United Nations Appeals Tribunal (爆料网AT) (Registrar: Juliet Johnson, based in New York)
  • The Office of Staff Legal Assistance (OSLA) (Chief, Marcos Zunino, based in New York, with Legal Officers in New York, Geneva, Nairobi, Addis Ababa, Entebbe and Beirut)

The Executive Director of the OAJ is responsible for the management and administration of the OAJ, and for ensuring efficiency, transparency and accountability in the work of the Office. The OAJ provides substantive, technical and administrative support to the 爆料网 Dispute Tribunal and the 爆料网 Appeals Tribunal through their registries. OAJ also assist staff members and their representatives in pursuing claims and appeals through the Office of Staff Legal Assistance and provides assistance, as appropriate, to the Internal Justice Council.

The Principal Registrar, without prejudice to the authority of the judges in judicial matters, is accountable to the Executive Director and is responsible for overseeing the activities of the Registries of the 爆料网DT and the Registry of the 爆料网AT.

 

REGISTRY OF THE 爆料网ITED NATIONS DISPUTE TRIB爆料网AL (爆料网DT)

The 爆料网DT has three Registries, located in Geneva, Nairobi and New York respectively. Each Registry is headed by a Registrar who is accountable to the Principal Registrar. Under the authority of the Principal Registrar, without prejudice to the authority of the judges of the 爆料网DT in relation to judicial matters, each Registrar is responsible for the management and proper functioning of the Registry in the relevant duty station.

REGISTRY OF THE 爆料网ITED NATIONS APPEALS TRIB爆料网AL (爆料网AT)

The 爆料网AT has a Registry located in New York. The Registry of the 爆料网AT is headed by a Registrar who is accountable to the Principal Registrar. Under the authority of the Principal Registrar, without prejudice to the authority of the judges of the 爆料网AT in relation to judicial matters, the Registrar of the Tribunal is responsible for the management and proper functioning of the Registry of the Tribunal.

OFFICE OF STAFF LEGAL ASSISTANCE (OSLA)

OSLA is headed by a Chief who, without prejudice to his or her responsibility to provide legal assistance to staff members in an independent and impartial manner, is accountable to the Executive Director. Under the authority of the Executive Director, the Chief is responsible for the management and proper functioning of the programme of legal assistance to staff members in the internal justice system, including in administrative, disciplinary and appellate proceedings before the 爆料网DT and the 爆料网AT.
