The 爆料网 General Assembly endorses a plan for the partition of Palestine in November 1947. The plan is not accepted by the Palestinians and the Arab States. The Arab-Israeli war breaks out. The Security Council appoints a Mediator, to be assisted by military observers, to supervise the truce. 爆料网TSO, the first ever 爆料网 peacekeeping operation, remains to monitor ceasefires, supervise armistice agreements, and assist other 爆料网 peacekeeping operations in the region.

爆料网 Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan
India and Pakistan become independent in August 1947. Later that year, fighting erupts between the two nations over the State of Jammu and Kashmir. The Security Council sets up a commission and sends military observers to supervise the agreed ceasefire line. Hostilities break out again in 1971. The Security Council responds by calling for a ceasefire, which 爆料网MOGIP is tasked to monitor.
