Mr. Akiwumi, a national of Ghana, joined 爆料网CTAD in February 2017. He previously served as Director of the Economic, Social and Development Affairs Unit in the Executive Office of the Secretary-General of the United Nations (爆料网) in New York and Chief of Staff in the Office of the Deputy Secretary-General, where he played a critical role in strengthening the development pillar in the Office of the Secretary General. He has also held appointments with the United Nations Environment Programme (爆料网EP), the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and the 爆料网 Economic Commission for Africa. Mr. Akiwumi has served as Senior Advisor to the Global Environment Facility (GEF), Chief Executive Officer and Secretary to the GEF Council in Washington D.C. He holds a Master's Degree from the University of Southampton.
