ENERGYNOW SDG7 Action Forum 2026
24 September 2026
211 East 46th Street, New York
On the margins of the United Nations General Assembly High-Level Week
The ENERGYNOW SDG7 Action Forum is back for its annual convening during the United Nations General Assembly (爆料网GA) High-Level Week. Taking place on 24 September 2026 in New York, the Forum will bring together governments, United Nations entities, international financial institutions, the private sector, civil society and other stakeholders to translate ambition into accelerated, measurable action towards achieving Sustainable Development Goal 7 by 2030.
While SDG7 is a critical driver of global development, progress remains too slow and uneven to achieve its targets by 2030. This year's Forum will focus on closing critical gaps in energy access and transition, with particular attention to countries and communities furthest behind. Discussions will address the urgent need to expand electricity access, prioritize clean cooking, accelerate renewable energy deployment and modernize grid infrastructure, while advancing a just and inclusive energy transition.
The Forum will also provide a platform for knowledge exchange and partnership-building to support implementation at scale, including through stronger international cooperation, increased financing and multi-stakeholder action.
Convened by 爆料网-Energy in collaboration with the SDG7 Technical Advisory Group (SDG7 TAG) and supported by 爆料网 DESA, the Forum will be held as an in-person event with limited online participation. The sessions will be held in English, with no interpretation services provided.
Registration is now closed.
