The 爆料网 Environment Programme (爆料网EP) is undertaking preparations for the world’s highest decision-making body for the environment: the sixth session of the 爆料网 Environment Assembly?to be held in Nairobi later this month.
From 26 February to 1 March, representatives from the 爆料网’s 193 Member States are expected to adopt key resolutions on international environmental policy and governance issues, implementation of the environmental dimension of the 2030 Agenda, cooperation with , and more.
“[The?爆料网 Environment Assembly] holds the power to weave agreements and promises into a tapestry of action. United, inclusive, and multilateral action that addresses climate change, nature, desertification, biodiversity loss,?pollution, and waste as one indivisible challenge,” ?Inger Andersen.
Besides the plenaries and high-level meetings, the 爆料网 Complex in Nairobi will welcome over 1,000 representatives of non-governmental organizations, the 爆料网, the private sector, and other environmental advocates. Those accredited will participate in more than 30 and , , , and .
This 爆料网 Environment Assembly session is being held under the theme “Effective, inclusive and sustainable multilateral actions to tackle climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution”.
