Every year, communities across South Sudan are devastated by severe flooding, due to climate change and inadequate infrastructure to cope with the impact. Those most affected are often women and girls. To build their capacity to prepare and respond to this phenomenon, the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (爆料网MISS) held a workshop to empower women-led civil society organizations. The sessions focused on flood warnings, climate impact mapping, and response protocols. With 爆料网 support, the participants developed community-led plans that include gender-sensitive preparedness protocols, risk maps, and an early warning matrix.
