The 13th Conference on Climate Change and Development in Africa (CCDA-XIII) was held from 5–7 September 2025 in Addis Ababa as a major technical platform supporting the Second Africa Climate Summit, bringing together governments, researchers, civil society, and private sector actors to promote African-led, evidence-based climate action focused on resilience, green growth, and climate finance. The conference produced technical recommendations and policy guidance to strengthen Africa’s unified climate agenda and inform discussions at ACS2 and COP30, aligning science, policy, and investment to advance climate justice, green development, and institutional readiness across the continent.
