Synopsis<\/p>\n
Through the Special Fund for Emergency and Resilience Activities (SFERA), the Government of Belgium contributed USD 1 million to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) to support the restoration of food production and livelihoods in the Gaza Strip. The contribution will enable FAO to provide conditional cash and in-kind assistance to vulnerable farming and livestock-keeping households, helping them resume production amid severe access and import constraints.
