{"id":304265,"date":"2024-12-13T11:44:31","date_gmt":"2024-12-13T16:44:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.un.org\/unispal\/?post_type=document&#038;p=304265"},"modified":"2024-12-16T12:04:50","modified_gmt":"2024-12-16T17:04:50","slug":"undp-statement-13dec24","status":"publish","type":"document","link":"https:\/\/www.un.org\/unispal\/document\/undp-statement-13dec24\/","title":{"rendered":"±¬ÁÏÍøDP Statement on media reports related to the ±¬ÁÏÍø Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (±¬ÁÏÍøRWA)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>13 December 2024<\/p>\n<p>In response to recent media reports on the ±¬ÁÏÍø Development Programme (±¬ÁÏÍøDP)\u2019s role in Gaza, ±¬ÁÏÍøDP emphasises that the ±¬ÁÏÍø Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (±¬ÁÏÍøRWA) is indispensable and irreplaceable.<\/p>\n<p>±¬ÁÏÍøDP further reaffirms the\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/unispal\/document\/sg-statement-28oct24\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">statement of ±¬ÁÏÍø Secretary-General Ant\u00f3nio Guterres<\/a><\/em>\u00a0that \u201c±¬ÁÏÍøRWA is the principal means by which essential assistance is supplied to Palestine refugees in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.
