Question<\/u>:\u00a0 Yes, Farhan.\u00a0 Thank you.\u00a0 Palestinian member of Legislative Council Khalida Jarrar, she\u2019s in jail.\u00a0 Her daughter just had a heart attack and died.\u00a0 She\u2019s 25.\u00a0 And there is a world pressure now on Israel to let her attend the funeral.\u00a0 Do you have anything to say?\u00a0 I expected Mr.\u00a0[Tor] Wennesland to say something in sympathy with Miss Khalida Jarrar\u2019s tragedy.\u00a0 Do you see there is validity of calling the Israeli authorities to let her attend the funeral of her daughter?<\/p>\n

Deputy Spokesman<\/u>:\u00a0 Well, certainly, it\u2019s a case for the authorities to consider the case for compassionate leave.\u00a0 Beyond that, of course, I would also point out that we have called for all those in detention to be tried promptly and to face due process or otherwise to be released.<\/p>\n
