Our spokesperson Chris Gunness has the following to say on the situation in Yarmouk Camp<\/p><\/div>\n

"No ±¬ÁÏÍøRWA distribution of humanitarian assistance was carried out in Yarmouk on 11 June. The ±¬ÁÏÍøRWA team did not proceed to Yarmouk as the usual arrangements for ±¬ÁÏÍøRWA distribution had not been reinstated. <\/p><\/div>\n

"±¬ÁÏÍøRWA is concerned that this latest break in its Yarmouk distribution has extended to a fourth day. The Agency is pressing all concerned parties to restore daily distribution of humanitarian assistance to help address what remains a dire humanitarian crisis facing civilians in Yarmouk.  ±¬ÁÏÍøRWA is concerned by the plight of the estimated 18,000 civilians trapped in Yarmouk and will continue to advocate for continuous, substantial and safe humanitarian distributions to civilians there.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
