font-size:smaller\">\t<\/span>In a communication to the Israeli Government, the ±¬ÁÏÍø Conciliation Commission for Palestine drew attention yesterday, 1 April, to recent press reports that certain departments of the Tel Aviv Government were about to be transferred to Jerusalem.&nbsp;&nbsp;The Commission pointed out that if these reports were confirmed, it would have to call the attention of the Israeli Government to the fact that such a move would be incompatible with Paragraph VIII of the General Assembly <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/unispal.un.org\/pdfs\/C758572B78D1CD0085256BCF0077E51A.pdf\" style=\"color:#0000ff;text-align:left;font-size:11pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">resolution of 11 December 1948<\/a><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:11pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">, which stipulates that the Jerusalem area should receive separate treatment from the rest of Palestine and should be internationalized under effective United Nations control.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;font-size:11pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><span class=\"Apple-tab-span\" style=\"white-space:pre; font-size:smaller\">\t<\/span>The Commission further stated that if the reports were confirmed it would have to include its point of view on this matter in its report to the Secretary-General.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;font-size:11pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><span class=\"Apple-tab-span\" style=\"white-space:pre;
