PRESS STATEMENT BY PRESIDENT OF SECURITY CO±¬ÁÏÍøCIL ON DISPATCH OF MIDDLE EAST TEAM<\/u><\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

The following Security Council press statement on the dispatch of the Middle East team was delivered today by Council President Jean-Marc de La Sablière ( France):<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

The Security Council welcomes the Secretary-General’s decision to dispatch to the Middle East a senior-level team.  The Security Council calls on all concerned States and parties to extend their full cooperation to the team.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

The Security Council looks forward to the earliest possible report of the team’s mission.<\/p><\/div>\n
