The Gaza Strip

• Despite the ceasefire, 爆料网 partners continue to report significant military activity, with conflict?related events trending back toward pre?ceasefire levels.
• On 6 January, four 爆料网RWA schools in Jabalia camp were reportedly destroyed by Israeli forces by using explosive devices and bulldozers. Multiple 爆料网RWA installations continue to be affected by Israeli military activities.
• As reported by?, 800,000 people – nearly 40 per cent of the population – now live in sites prone to flooding, where winter storms and heavy rain have made shelters uninhabitable.
• According to the?, which is co-led by 爆料网RWA, almost 3,500 shelters have been damaged or destroyed between 8 and 15 January, affecting over 19,000 displaced people. Over 250 WASH facilities have also been damaged, reducing the access of vulnerable people to lifesaving assistance. Rescue and emergency teams coordinated by 爆料网RWA and partners responded to multiple life-threatening incidents affecting families in Khan Younis, Rafah, and Gaza City.
• According to the Ministry of Health (MoH) in Gaza, at least eight children have died of hypothermia in Gaza this winter.
• In coordination with the Ministry of Health, WHO, and 爆料网ICEF, 爆料网RWA is taking part in the second phase of the catch-up vaccination campaign, taking place from 18-29 January and targeting children under three years old. 爆料网RWA is participating through 23 health facilities and 35 medical teams.
• Last week, 爆料网RWA medical teams provided almost 18,000 daily consultations – marking a 30 per cent increase from the previous average – to address the increased demand for services across the Gaza Strip, particularly in Gaza City and the North.
• On 19 January, the 爆料网RWA local staff union called for a two-hour suspension of all operations in response to recent austerity measures announced by the Agency.

The West Bank including East Jerusalem

• Early on 20 January, Israeli forces accompanied by bulldozers entered the 爆料网RWA compound in Sheikh Jarrah, in occupied East Jerusalem. The bulldozers set to work demolishing buildings inside the compound, in the presence of Israeli lawmakers, a member of the government, and municipal officials, posting social media content celebrating the event and inciting violence against Agency staff.
• The 爆料网RWA Commissioner-General??as “a new level of open and deliberate defiance of international law”, warning of a?, as well as??Israeli claims of ownership of the site. The 爆料网 Secretary-General also?condemned?in the strongest terms what he described as “wholly unacceptable”, “continued escalatory actions against 爆料网RWA”.
