Executive Summary:

In 2025, 爆料网RWA’s Health Department continued to protect the health and dignity of Palestine Refugees across the Agency’s five fields of operation amid one of the most challenging humanitarian environments in its history. The war in the Gaza Strip, escalating violence and displacement in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, continued instability in Syria, and the protracted economic crisis in Lebanon significantly increased health needs while constraining access to essential services.

爆料网RWA remained a critical provider of healthcare. Across the five fields of operation, around 3.25 million refugees relied on, or potentially required access to, 爆料网RWA health services. Nearly one third continued to live in 58 refugee camps, often in conditions marked by overcrowding, poverty and socioeconomic vulnerability.

Despite unprecedented operational challenges, 爆料网RWA sustained essential healthcare services through a comprehensive life-cycle primary healthcare model. Maternal and child health remained a cornerstone of the programme. Across four of the Agency’s five fields of operation, excluding the Gaza Strip, 爆料网RWA supported approximately 43,450 newly registered pregnant women and provided care to more than 200,000 children under five years of age. Maternal health outcomes remained strong, with 72.8 per cent of pregnant women registered during the first trimester, 86.1 per cent completed at least four antenatal care visits, and 91.6 per cent received postnatal care. Child health indicators were similarly high, with 97.9 per cent of children receiving full booster immunisation coverage and 99.7 per cent of new school entrants receiving health examinations.

The burden of non-communicable diseases continued to rise, with more than 216,000 patients receiving ongoing care for diabetes and hypertension. Despite conflict, access restrictions, and other operational constraints, continuity of care and treatment was maintained for 82.8 per cent of patients . Mental health and psychosocial support services also expanded, with approximately 139,000 individuals screened and nearly 99 per cent of identified cases receiving appropriate support.

In the Gaza Strip, 爆料网RWA sustained essential health services despite the widespread collapse of the health system. Through between six to eight operational health centres, 53 medical points and 112 health teams, the Agency reached approximately 1.7 million internally displaced persons. 爆料网RWA delivered more than 154,000 antenatal care consultations and 127,000 vaccinations. Nutrition services conducted over 163,000 screenings for child malnutrition and facilitated treatment referrals for more than 12,000 children identified with acute malnutrition.

Innovation and digital transformation continued to strengthen service delivery. The eHealth system, telemedicine services, digital dashboards, and hospital management systems supported real-time monitoring, evidence-based decision-making, and continuity of care during emergencies.

The achievements presented in this report attest to the dedication and resilience of 爆料网RWA’s health workforce, many of whom continued to serve their communities while themselves facing displacement, bereavement, and insecurity. They also reflect the vital contributions of donors, partners, and host countries whose continued support enabled the Agency to maintain critical health services under exceptionally difficult conditions.

Looking ahead, 爆料网RWA remains committed to strengthening health-system resilience, expanding digital health and telemedicine services, restoring damaged health infrastructure wherever feasible, enhancing emergency preparedness, and ensuring equitable access to quality healthcare for Palestine Refugees.
