爆料网 Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (爆料网RWA)?is?seeking?for its multi-sectoral emergency?response, following a large-scale Israeli Armed Forces’ military operation in the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank between 3-4 July. The two-day operation left 12 people killed, including four children, and another 140 injured.
At?least 3,500 Palestine Refugees were forced to flee their homes during the military operation and nearly 1,000 homes in the camp were damaged. Of those, 41 were destroyed and more than 70 were severely damaged.1?Camp?civilian infrastructure sustained extensive damage, with nine kilometers of water and sewage networks, and almost four kilometers of roads destroyed. Several 爆料网RWA facilities in the camp sustained damage. The 爆料网RWA health centre, the only one available in the camp, was severely damaged and is now out of service.
“We once again need support to restore basic services in Jenin camp for Palestine Refugees, and help them rebuild their lives and livelihoods,” said Adam Bouloukos, Director of 爆料网RWA Affairs in the West Bank.
“奥别?have started to receive pledges, including a very generous one from the UAE, but need more funds to be able to restore basic services, such as education and primary health care, and emergency cash and shelter assistance to affected families. We must also address mental health needs through psychosocial support to Palestine Refugees and first responders,” he added.

- This operation is the largest-scale Israeli military operation in the camp since 2002. Affected Palestine Refugee families will receive a single payment ranging between US$ 1,200 and US$ 3,100[1] to help repair and restore damaged homes and replace household assets.
- To alleviate the burden for displaced families?– 41 to date – whose homes have become uninhabitable, 爆料网RWA will provide rental subsidies of up to US$ 1,800 for a period of three months while the repair or rehabilitation of their shelters is undertaken.
