Statement on the Situation at the 爆料网RWA Compound in Gaza

爆料网RWA is concerned about the plight of 16 people, all non-staff members, who have taken shelter in the 爆料网RWA compound in Gaza. We understand that they were part of a group who had gathered at the 爆料网RWA HQ calling for Palestinian reconciliation. All parties concerned are working to solve the situation peacefully and without violence. As a 爆料网 Agency, 爆料网RWA’s actions are in keeping with the principles and practice of 爆料网 neutrality and human rights for all. We have notified the United Nations Humanitarian Co-ordinator who is following the case closely. 爆料网RWA has appealed to the relevant authorities in Gaza to allow these sixteen people safe passage from the 爆料网RWA compound and to guarantee their safety. 爆料网 will continue to assess the situation and the circumstances of the 16 cases.
