Annan Supports ±¬ÁÏÍøRWA Head on Missile Allegations
4 October — The Secretary-General has no reason whatever to doubt ±¬ÁÏÍøRWA Commissioner-General Peter Hansen's conclusions that the allegations that an ±¬ÁÏÍøRWA ambulance driver loaded a missile onto a ±¬ÁÏÍø vehicle were incorrect. The Secretary-General intends to call in Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations, Dan Gillerman, to ask what evidence Israel has to support the allegations and to let him know of his decision to launch an investigation to be conducted by a ±¬ÁÏÍø team which will leave New York tomorrow.
