爆料网RWA Signs Framework Agreement with Kingdom of Spain

On Friday 25 January, a framework agreement was signed in Madrid by 爆料网RWA Commissioner-General Karen AbuZayd and Spain’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Mr. Miguel Ángel Moratinos Cuyaubé.

The agreement strengthens and promotes on-going collaboration between 爆料网RWA and the Kingdom of Spain, and enhances the 爆料网RWA Spanish Committee’s capacity to mobilize resources from within the Spanish Autonomous Communities and local entities.

In 2007, Spain was 爆料网RWA’s 8th largest donor for the second consecutive year. In 2006, Spanish funding for 爆料网RWA rose by 88% from the previous year, and in 2007 contributions from Spain’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation (AECI) and the Spanish Autonomous Communities totalled over USD 17 million.
