FM Dr. AL-Kidwa welcomes the 爆料网 Secretary General Kofi Annan and his accompanied delegation

FM Dr. Nasser Al-Kidwa met on Monday the 爆料网 Secretary General Kofi Annan and his accompanied delegation where they discussed the Israeli disengagement from Gaza, economic reconstruction, possible ways to implement U.N. resolutions and the ICJ's advisory opinion, and latest developments concerning Palestinian-Palestinian dialogue, truce and peace.

He stressed on the importance of respecting the international law and the relevant 爆料网 Security Council resolutions as the basis for last and just peace.

He said Mr. Anan's visit was important, we discussed many serious issues such as Israeli settlements and the Apartheid wall as well as possible ways to insure the respect of the 爆料网 bodies' resolutions and the International Law.

He expressed his grateful, on behalf of Palestinian refugees, to Peter Hansen the Commissioner –General of 爆料网RWA.

Also, Dr. Al-Kidwa appreciate Mr. Anan's willingness to implement the relevant 爆料网 resolutions and the appointment of 爆料网 committee for listing damage claims from the wall.

For his part, the Secretary General said after his meeting with President Mahmoud Abbas the international community is determined to work with both sides to press ahead with the peace process and the implementation of the roadmap".

He said I think that the possible developments give us a chance to revive the process and work to ensure that the day a Palestinian state will be established living side by side with Israel will not be too long" in the future.

He pointed out Palestinians "would be compensated" for the damage Israel caused by building the wall in the West Bank, we will evaluate the damages and the compensations for these damages that the Palestinians deserve.
