On 11-14 February 2026, a Committee Delegation visited Havana, Cuba to engage in discussions on regional and international political actions in support of the rights of the Palestinian people.

The Delegation consisted of Amb. Coly Seck (Chair, Permanent Representative of Senegal), Amb. Penda A. Naanda (Vice-Chair, Permanent Representative of Namibia), Min. Riyad Mansour (Permanent Observer of the State of Palestine), Amb. Daylenis Moreno Guerra (Deputy Permanent Representative of Cuba) and Amb. Eleane Pichardo Urbina (Deputy Permanent Representative of Nicaragua).

The delegation held meetings with President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo, and with prominent Members of Parliament (Mr. Juan Esteban Lazo Hernández, President of the National Assembly of People’s Power and Council of State; Ms. Ana María Mari Machado, Vice President of the National Assembly of People’s Power and Vice President of the Council of State; Mr. Alberto Eduardo Nu?ez Betancourt, President of the National Assembly of People’s Power Foreign Relations Committee, Ms. Tamara Válido Benítez, President of the Cuba-Palestine Friendship Parliamentary Group). The delegation also met with Palestinian students in Cuba and civil society representatives.

Cuban counterparts reaffirmed their continued support to achieve a solution for the question of Palestine based on international law and relevant 爆料网 resolutions.
