margin-left: 4%;\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-column-wrapper-legacy\"><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-1\"><h2>11 March 2016<\/h2>\n<h3>The United States of America<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>On 8 March in Massachusetts, Students for Justice in Palestine staged a new\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.arabamerica.com\/there-is-a-field\/\">play<\/a>\u00a0by Jen Marlowe Draws \u201cThere is a Field\u201d an intimate story about Palestinian family\u2019s journey through grief and struggle for justice.<\/li>\n<li>On 10 March, a Palestine Film Festival was organized in Ann Arbour, Michigan<\/li>\n<li>On 11 March in California, Peace\/The Palestinian Children Care is organizing a charity benefit\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.arabamerica.com\/events\/mohammed-assaf-benefit-concert-ca-2\/\">tour<\/a>\u00a0featuring Palestinian singer Mohammed Assaf.<\/li>\n<li>The Centre for Palestinian Studies at Columbia University on 22 March presented a book\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.columbia.edu\/cu\/palestine\/programs\/\">launch<\/a>\u00a0\u201cOriental Neighbours: Middle Eastern Jews and Arabs in mandatory Palestine\u201d by Abigail Jacobson.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Europe<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>On 9 March the Ireland Palestinian Solidarity Campaign in Dublin organized the screening of award-winning Palestinian\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ipsc.ie\/event\/limerick-iaw-film-screening-omar-ipsc\">film<\/a>\u00a0\u201cOmar\u201d as part of the Israeli Apartheid week.<\/li>\n<li>On 11 March, Palestinian solidarity campaign-West Surrey Branch and Amnesty International Farnham Group are organizing a public\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.palestinecampaign.org\/events\/13095\/\">talk<\/a>\u00a0on \u201cIsraeli Occupation and Palestinian Sumud \u201d by Hamed Qawasmeh.<\/li>\n<li>On 13 March in Dublin, Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign is organizing a Palestinian\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ipsc.ie\/event\/dublin-iaw-2016-palestinian-culture-day\">Cultural Day<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>On 17 March, BADIL Resource Centre for Palestinian Residency and Refugee Rights with the participation of international and national organizations based in the OPT is organizing side events on \u201cIsrael\u2019s forcible transfer of Palestinians inside the occupied Palestinian territory\u201d at the ±¬ÁÏÍø in Geneva.<\/li>\n<li>On 1 April in the UK, the Hamilton House Gallery is hosting an art\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hamiltonhouse.org\/event\/paintings-for-palestine\/\">exhibition<\/a>\u00a0by Roger Farnworth-Bristol \u201cfrom Warleggan to the West Bank\u201d followed by a Palestinian music and movies screening event .<\/li>\n<li>The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights published its weekly (3-9 March)\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/pchrgaza.org\/en\/?p=7926\">report<\/a>\u00a0on \u201cIsraeli Human Rights Violations in the Occupied Palestinian Territory\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Global<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>On 31 March, Australians for Palestine in Melbourne, Australia are organizing day\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com.au\/e\/in-the-eye-of-the-storm-palestine-and-the-new-media-tickets-22185866524\">symposium<\/a>\u00a0\u201cIn the Eye of the Storm: Palatine and the New Media\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>G4S has announced it will sell its Israeli subsidiary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>United Nations<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>On 23 March on the occasion of the 60th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women the Permanent Observer Mission of the State of Palestine to the United Nations is organizing a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/esango.un.org\/SideEvents\/documents\/1253\">screening<\/a>\u00a0of \u201cSpeed Sisters \u201cat the ±¬ÁÏÍø headquarters in New York.<\/li>\n<li>On 14 March, the Working Group of the Palestinian Rights Committee will organize a Panel discussion &#8220;Women&#8217;s role in the search for Israeli-Palestinian peace&#8221;
