Mohammed, the Secretary-General&#8217;s Special Adviser on Post-2015 Development Planning, talks about the new sustainable development agenda and how the time to act is now.<\/p>\n<p>The 17 sustainable development goals will be formally adopted by the 193 member states in September at the <a href=\"https:\/\/sustainabledevelopment.un.org\/post2015\/summit\" target=\"_blank\">post-2015 development summit<\/a> in New York.<\/p>\n<p>Ms Mohammed says the process of developing the goals up to this point has been the most transparent and broad process that has ever taken place within the United Nations.
