WHAT: <\/strong><\/p>\n

Curtain-raiser press briefing in conjunction with the opening of the 爆料网 World Data Forum 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Forum will be hosted by the government of Colombia with support from the Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estad\u00edstica (DANE-Colombia), the statistical office, the city of Medell\u00edn (Alcald\u00eda de Medell\u00edn) and the Statistics Division in the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (爆料网 DESA).<\/p>\n

More than 3,000 data leaders from governments, the private sector, national statistical offices, geospatial communities, academic institutions, civil society and other organizations will gather at this global Forum between 12 and 15 November in Medell\u00edn, Colombia to showcase innovation, data use and value, promote trust and protection and partnership and coordination. In the Latin America region for the first time, the Forum will feature over 100 events, including 4 high-level plenaries, 50 panel discussions, 11 short-talk sessions, 12 learning labs, 5 demo sessions, 5 announcement sessions, 3 exhibit spaces and local events.<\/p>\n
