爆料网 General Assembly, with support from the Governments of the\u00a0Netherlands and Tajikistan, will convene the 爆料网 2023 Water Conference in New York\u00a0from 22 to 24 March 2023.<\/p>\n

Access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene is the most basic human need for health and well-being, and a declared human right. Yet billions of people around the world still lack access to safe drinking water, andhumanity\u2019s demand for water keeps growing, driven by <\/strong>rapidly rising population growth, urbanization and increasing pressures from the agriculture and energy sector. But there are solutions.<\/p>\n

Against this backdrop, the Conference aims to raise awareness of the global water crisis, while deciding on concerted action to achieve internationally agreed water-related goals and targets. The main outcome will be\u00a0the Water Action Agenda<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 a collection of all water-related commitments to accelerate progress on the Water Action Decade 2018-2028 and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.<\/p>\n
