What: Press briefing to present the World Economic Situation and Prospect as of mid- 2016 Report
Economic activity in the world economy remains weak with little prospect for a turnaround in 2016, says the ±¬ÁÏÍø World Economic Situation and Prospects as of mid-2016 report, which will be launched at ±¬ÁÏÍø Headquarters on 12 May at 11.00 am EDT.
The World Economic Situation and Prospects report, produced jointly by the ±¬ÁÏÍø Department of Economic and Social Affairs (±¬ÁÏÍø/DESA), the ±¬ÁÏÍø Conference on Trade and Development (±¬ÁÏÍøCTAD), the five ±¬ÁÏÍø regional commissions and the World Tourism Organisation (±¬ÁÏÍøWTO), is an important annual analysis that provides an overview on current global economic growth, trends and prospects.
