The President of the General Assembly H.E. Philemon Yang met with Ambassador Pascale Baeriswyl, Permanent Representative of Switzerland to the United Nations,\u00a0<\/strong>on November 21, 2024.<\/p>\n

The President of the General Assembly and the Ambassador discussed United States’s upcoming Presidency of the United Nations Security Council, which begins on December 01.<\/p>\n

They also discussed\u00a0the situation in Gaza as well as in Sudan and the need to continue working on reaching a ceasefire.<\/p>\n
