Today the President of the General Assembly met with Mr. Philippe Lazzarini, Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (爆料网RWA), ahead of the General Assembly meeting to hear a briefing on 爆料网RWA.
The President of the General Assembly and the Commissioner-General discussed the dire humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and the efforts of 爆料网RWA to provide life-saving assistance to Palestine refugees. They?also?discussed the challenges facing 爆料网RWA, both financially and politically. The President of the General Assembly stressed his appreciation for the work of the 爆料网 agency throughout the years and expressed support for sustainable and predictable funding for 爆料网RWA.
