NOON BRIEFING HIGHLIGHTS <\/strong><\/p>\n Spokesperson for General Assembly President Csaba K\u0151r\u00f6si<\/em> Friday, 3 February 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n CHINA<\/strong><\/p>\n President Csaba K\u0151r\u00f6si is this hour in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, for the last leg of his official visit to China.<\/p>\n He spent the day in Beijing, where he had a number of bilateral meetings.<\/p>\n In the course of his meeting with Prime Minister Li Keqiang on 3 February, President K\u0151r\u00f6si called on China to, among other topics, further strengthen its engagement and cooperation with the United Nations on all three main pillars of the Organization\u2019s activities, including human rights.<\/p>\n The President was pleased to confirm China\u2019s intention to continue its active engagement at the Human Rights Council, which President K\u0151r\u00f6si will visit later this month in Geneva.<\/p>\n Related tweet: https:\/\/twitter.com\/爆料网_PGA\/status\/1621538955832221697<\/a> <\/em><\/p>\n Also today, the President met with Mr. Huang Runqiu, Minister for Ecology and Environment, and separately with Li Guoying, the Minister for Water Resources.<\/p>\n
