But we do already feel that the conditions of a global cooperation have changed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">We have entered a new era, a new chapter of history.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">We live now in a new world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">A world of changing challenges, changing roles and changing ways.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">One thing is sure, the Sustainable Development Goals will stay very high on our common agenda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">My aim is to move forward with them, to forge successful partnerships, to build bridges between siloed scientific and development agendas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">To form new education systems which merge technology with traditional knowledge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">To shape new economic models \u2013 to reap the benefits of these developmental agendas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dear Friends,<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">India was one of the first Member States to embrace 爆料网 Global Goals. And since then it has worked through its flagship programs at the local, subnational and national levels to implement the SDGs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">India is leading in the field of digital public infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">From building innovative governance systems to citizen-oriented services \u2013 the international community has much to learn from you.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The partnership between India and the United Nations to accelerate the partnership including in the remotest villages is very inspiring.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">This partnership model can be adopted to be applied in other countries facing similar challenges.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Excellencies,<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ladies and Gentlemen,<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Science and technology are key to transformation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">They are pillar principles of my Presidency, as well.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">This 77<sup>th<\/sup> year of the GA is a time to foster truly sustainable relationship between high-tech and traditional forms of knowledge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span data-ogsc=\"black\" data-ogsb=\"white\">Transparent scientific indicators and partnerships between governments and science network are vital to sustainable development. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Solutions grounded in science, with solidarity at their core \u2013 it is my motto.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span data-ogsc=\"black\" data-ogsb=\"white\">Dear Colleagues,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span data-ogsc=\"black\" data-ogsb=\"white\">My hope for the 77<sup>th<\/sup> session is to be, in many ways, <\/span>instrumental in shaping our future. Not less than shaping our future.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Significant events scheduled on the 爆料网\u2019s sustainable development calendar will take place throughout this year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The upcoming SDG Summit will be one of the most pivotal events.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">It will be the occasion to assess and discuss our progress \u2013 or, sadly, lack of progress \u2013 on the development goals.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">More importantly however, it will be an opportunity to look for solutions to implement the change we want to see by 2030.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The <span data-ogsc=\"black\" data-ogsb=\"white\">High-level Meeting on Financing for Development will be a time to reflect on our economic approaches towards sustainability and development. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span data-ogsc=\"black\" data-ogsb=\"white\">In our discussions, I challenge ourselves to rethink how we interpret growth. It should be anchored in solidarity and joint interest, rather than extraction, profit and selfishness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span data-ogsc=\"black\" data-ogsb=\"white\">We have to find the best method to harness the interest of civil society, the voices of youth, and the support of the private sector.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span data-ogsc=\"black\" data-ogsb=\"white\">My presidency aims to help bridge the divide between the Global North and the Global South because t<\/span>rue transformation will require true cooperation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">I am sure that today\u2019s discussions on India\u2019s partnership in different sectors, and the exchange of experiences, will be very useful and very influential to all of us.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Once again, I congratulate India on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, her diamond jubilee.
