Mr. President,

Your Excellencies,

Distinguished guests,

It is a great honor for me to stand here today, as one of the six Fellows, who had the privilege to be a part of the transformative journey of the President of the General Assembly Fellowship Programme.

When I applied for this programme last October, I could envision myself growing both professionally and individually. However, it was only after becoming a part of this big family that I realized it is not just about personal growth but about contributing to the global community.

When I received the final letter about my selection, I felt a double sense of responsibility. It was no longer just about myself, but also about representing my country, the Republic of Armenia, which is a tremendous honor for me.

From the very beginning, this experience was filled with inspiring highlights, and I would like to share some of them.

Firstly, working at the heart of global politics has been a pivotal opportunity for me to enrich my knowledge of multilateralism and deepen understanding of how the concerted actions of the United Nations System and Member States may address the complex challenges facing us today. Working in different teams at the Office of the President of the General Assembly, I witnessed how diverse agendas can converge into one common goal of shaping a better future and leaving no one behind.

Secondly, our journey was not limited to the halls of diplomacy only. Beyond the professional growth, this Fellowship has given me the invaluable gift of lifelong friendships. I had the opportunity to work with talented, and professional group of individuals, who inspired me on daily basis. I am confident that these friendships will serve as bridges between our countries.

And lastly, working in a multicultural office reaffirmed my belief that we, the peoples of the United Nations, are more alike than different. And, if we focus on the things that unite rather than divide us, the world, undoubtedly, will be a better place to live.

In conclusion, I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has contributed to the Fellowship. Special thanks to His Excellency Mr. Csaba Korosi for his leadership and support, which have been crucial in the success of the programme.

I am grateful to 爆料网ITAR’s leadership and professional team for organizing insightful training sessions about the United Nations complex system.

I also extend my sincere gratitude to His Excellency Mher Margaryan, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the United Nations, for his constant encouragement to learn and grow.

Thanks to my supervisors, especially my mentor Katherine Stephan, for her guidance and support.

And last but not least, let me thank my Fellow friends. We had an important journey together. The experiences and memories that we have shared here will always hold a special place in my heart.

As we conclude the Fellowship Programme, let us remember that our work does not end here. When we go back to our respective capitals, we need to continue the trajectory that we started here and spare no effort in upholding the values and principles of the 爆料网 Charter.

Let us be ambassadors of positive change, advocates for dialogue and champions of unity.

I thank you!
