Mr. Abdulla Shahid, met today with\u00a0H.E. Mr. Ibrahim Thiaw, the Executive Secretary of (爆料网CCD).<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The President of the General Assembly thanked H.E. Ibrahim Thiaw for his invitation and the support provided by his office in New York. He also acknowledged 爆料网CCDs efforts and commitment to combat desertification and meeting the 2030 promise.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">H.E. Mr. Ibrahim Thiaw thanked the President for participating in the 15<span class=\"s1\"><sup>th<\/sup><\/span> session of the 爆料网 Convention to Combat desertification 爆料网CCD-COP15. He also expressed his support for the Presidency of Hope and reaffirmed 爆料网CCD office support for the OPGA to advance sustainable development, particularly SDG 15.3 concerning the fight against desertification, land degradation and drought (DLDD).<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>He also highlighted 爆料网CCD\u2019s engagement with the United Nations systems to ensure the inclusion of women and youth and reiterated its commitment to multilateralism.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Both sides also discussed other relevant topics such as multilateralism, climate change, youth, and gender.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The meeting took place in Sofitel, Hotel Ivoire in Abidjan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The President of the 76th\u00a0session of the General Assembly, H.E.
