MIGRATION<\/strong><\/p>\n

President Abdulla Shahid spoke recently about migration. He said that since the adoption of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration, much has been achieved. But COVID-19 has underscored the fact that risks and challenges remain for migrants, as well as for communities of origin, transit, and destination. More remains to be done, he said, and urged the international community to work together to solve matters of common interest.<\/p>\n

The video was put out ahead of the International Migration Review Forum, to be held in May. It is part of the “Make a Pledge” campaign organized by the ±¬ÁÏÍø Network on Migration.<\/p>\n
