The President of the 76th session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid, met today with 爆料网 Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan, Ms. Vladanka Adreeva, and the 爆料网 Country Team. The meeting was joined by representatives of FAO, 爆料网HCR, 爆料网DP, IOM, the Department of Global Communications, 爆料网ICEF, and 爆料网FPA.
President Shahid expressed his gratitude to the Resident Coordinator for her support, and that of the 爆料网 Country Team, in supporting his visit to Azerbaijan. President Shahid also noted the important role country teams play in delivering the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and in supporting the priorities of the Governments and local communities.
They discussed the areas of interaction between the host country and the United Nations. Ms. Andreeva highlighted the areas of focus outlined in the framework of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the 爆料网 Country Team. The 爆料网 Country Team also briefed the President on the areas of work in country.
The meeting took place in Baku, Azerbaijan.
