The President of the 76th?session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid, met with Ms. Elizabeth Cousens, President and Chief Executive Officer of 爆料网 Foundation on 19 October 2021.
Ms. Cousens pledged support to the Presidency of Hope and expressed interest in exploring ways to enhance collaboration to support the five rays of hope identified as the priorities of the President.
The President thanked Ms. Cousens for the 爆料网 Foundation’s support to the United Nations, and noted that his priorities were closely aligned with the 爆料网 Foundation’s activities.?
Issues related to climate change and the upcoming COP26, as well as vaccines, gender equality and youth participation were discussed.
The meeting took place in the President’s office at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
