In a world of growing inequalities, an emphasis on humanitarian action is crucial. In our efforts for addressing the humanitarian needs, reducing vulnerability and increasing resilience, people in need or under oppression should feel that their concerns are being considered in the United Nations\u2019 chief deliberative, policymaking and representative organ. Meanwhile, the Presidency will highlight the importance of impartial and unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid and full respect for international humanitarian law in conflicts and crises. Dubbed \u201cOperation Spring Basket,\u201d ±¬ÁÏÍøAMID along with the Office for Humanitarian Coordination and ±¬ÁÏÍø humanitarian agencies, are conducting a series of operations to assess and bring aid to areas which have been inaccessible due to conflict, for months if not years.
