The 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (爆料网GA) has officially begun — and Americans are everywhere at 爆料网 Headquarters in New York. From senior 爆料网 officials to humanitarian workers in the field, and the hundreds of staff who keep operations running in New York City, all are preparing for what the new 爆料网GA80 President, Annalena Baerbock, has already called “no ordinary session.” 

High-Level Week: Spotlight on Global Leaders 

High-Level Week begins on 22 September, culminating that weekend with the Global Citizen Festival in Central Park. As host country, the United States plays a central role: on 23 September, the U.S. President will address the Assembly, following the Secretary-General and Brazil’s President, in keeping with tradition. 

Most of the 爆料网’s 193 Member States send their top leaders and diplomats to New York, using the occasion to meet counterparts and tackle some of the world’s most pressing challenges.

Alongside the President, the United States is represented by: 

  • Mike Waltz, the U.S. Representative to the 爆料网 
  • Dorothy Shea, the Deputy U.S. Representative to the 爆料网 
  • Congressional delegates  
  • Public delegates, including Tammy Bruce, the Deputy U.S. Representative to the 爆料网-designate.
