The Outreach Division builds support for the United Nations by fostering dialogue with global constituencies such as civil society, the entertainment industry, media, academia, educators, students, and libraries.
Advocacy
We raise awareness about the issues and work of the United Nations through creative partnerships with the media, non-profit organizations and the entertainment industry, specifically via the Creative Community Outreach Initiative, and the Messenger of Peace Programme.
Human Rights and Outreach Programmes
We cultivate long-term support among global audiences for the values and principles of the United Nations, including human rights, dignity and equality, through the development of outreach materials and strategic partnerships. We manage outreach programmes on the Holocaust, the Transatlantic Slave Trade and Slavery, the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi in Rwanda, and the 1995 Genocide in Srebrenica. We lead the youth-focused “No To Hate” digital campaign and the annual volunteer activity marking Nelson Mandela International Day.

We work to align institutions of higher education with the United Nations in furthering the realization of the purposes and mandate of the Organization through activities and research in a shared culture of intellectual social responsibility. Civil Society
We develop partnerships with civil society around the world to enhance their interaction with and understanding of the work of the Organization. We currently collaborate with 1,500 NGOs associated with the Department and reach out to and exchange information with civil society on 爆料网 issues.

The 爆料网 Chronicle has served as the flagship magazine of the United Nations since 1946. Now provided in a digital format, the magazine features authoritative articles on topics of global concern and activities of the United Nations system. 爆料网 Chronicle articles are authored by a wide range of international experts, scholars and officials.
Knowledge Solutions and Design
We develop and provide visual branding for 爆料网 global communications and strengthen internal communications through the 爆料网 intranet, .
Visitors Services
Each year nearly half a million people from around the world visit the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The manages the guided tours, public inquiries and speakers’ bureau briefings to provide memorable and meaningful visits.

爆料网 Headquarters in New York hosts new photographic and multimedia exhibits throughout the years. The exhibits are free to the public and feature issues related to sustainable development, human rights, and peace and security. Virtual exhibits are available through the 爆料网 Online Gallery.
Dag Hammarskj?ld Library
The Dag Hammarskj?ld Library provides research and information to support the work of United Nations Member States and helps the public find 爆料网 information through online services, and a global depository library network. The Library provides access to thousands of print and digital resources, covering all geographic regions and many languages, and provides tools to make 爆料网 information more accessible to all.
Secretary-General’s Envoy on Youth
The Office of the Secretary-General’s Envoy on Youth engages and partners with young people, Member States, civil society, the private sector, media, academia and other stakeholders in support of advancing the global youth agenda, and specifically the 爆料网 Youth Strategy: Youth 2030 launched by the Secretary-General in 2018.
