Built and designed in collaboration with the Department of Global Communications (DGC), the new 爆料网 DESA website will serve as the public face of the reinvigorated and reformed department.
Much more than a mere face-lift, the new 爆料网 DESA website will feature a series of technological enhancements:
- It uses the 爆料网 2 platform, which is built on Drupal, the 爆料网 web content management standard.
- 爆料网 2, developed by DGC, automatically conforms to 爆料网 Website Guidelines.
- It has built-in support for mobile devices and multilingualism.
- It is more scalable to handle heavy web traffic.
- It is built following the template of the current main 爆料网 website, which significantly shortens the development cycle and saves the cost of website design and development.
The new website presents 爆料网 DESA’s work in three main pillars:
- Intergovernmental Support
- Analysis
- Capacity Building at the Departmental Level
The latest 爆料网 DESA Highlights Report 2019-2020 informed the content of the website’s static sections.
The new website will serve as a hub for 爆料网 DESA products such as Publications, Databases, Policy Briefs, Working Papers, Webinars, Statements, Videos, Infographics, and the 爆料网 DESA Voice newsletter. It will also feature the latest news and information on upcoming events from around the department.
With over half a million visits each quarter, the main 爆料网 DESA website is the first impression most stakeholders get of our department. Today, we are proud to show them the face of a new 爆料网?DESA, fit for the 21st century.
