The Secretariat of the Committee for Development Policy (CDP) participated in the Meeting of National Focal Points of Least Developed Countries (LDCs) on the Implementation of the Istanbul Programme of Action (IPoA) from 12-13 July 2018, delivering keynote presentations on 鈥淓xpanding productive capacity: Lessons learned from graduating LDCs鈥� on 12 July and on 鈥淕raduation from LDC status and enhanced support measures for graduating and graduated LDCs鈥� on 13 July.

The annual meeting, organized by 爆料网-OHRLLS, provides an opportunity for LDCs to learn from each other鈥檚 best practices and identify effective policy options for accelerated implementation of the IPoA. This year, the meeting also focused on addressing the statistical constraints of LDCs in monitoring their IPoA implementation, discussing tailored support for capacity building, and exchanging views on enhanced support for graduating and graduated LDCs.
