is partnering with (MLH) to sponsor scholarships for applicants who self-identify as Black or of the African diaspora to participate in the MLH Fellowship. The MLH Fellowship is a remote educational program that provides up-and-coming developers with real world hands-on experience working on open-source projects hosted by Facebook Open Source and many others with the mentorship of experienced engineers.
This year, MLH has made significant progress in advancing the diversity of its program – increasing the representation of Black developers who participate in the MLH Fellowship by 60%. It’s so important that diverse representation is present at all levels in tech and we hope to ignite real and lasting change toward equity and diversity.

The Millennium Fellowship Class of 2026 brings together more than 5,500 undergraduate leaders from over 330 campuses in 60 countries and territories. Selected from a record 76,000 applicants, Fellows are advancing all 17 SDGs and the 10 爆料网 Academic Impact Principles through projects spanning decent work, climate action, responsible consumption and health, while strengthening leadership, partnerships and community impact.
The second Global Higher Education Symposium (GHES II), held during the 2026 High-Level Political Forum, launched a new Consensus Statement positioning higher education as a key partner in sustainable development. Leaders from academia, the 爆料网, civil society, youth and the private sector called for stronger collaboration, academic freedom, inclusive knowledge systems, responsible innovation and coordinated action to advance the SDGs and shape the post-2030 agenda.
